I first tried Nordic Walking when I was unable to run due to a medical condition. Problem solved! I discovered that I could maintain and extend my fitness and health, for far less apparent effort, whilst enjoying great company, by being outdoors and all the time enjoying beautiful scenery and fresh air.
This could be you! Nordic Walking requires very little specialist equipment. I provide the poles (until you choose to buy your own) and you wear sensible outdoor clothing and shoes.
I offer taster sessions for you to try it out and learn to classes to teach you the correct technique so that you can get the most out of Nordic Walking.
Once taught you can join my weekly 1hr fitness walks in a variety of locations and on different days and times. Take a look to see what suits you.
Every month I will be offering a longer Adventure walk, usually a bit further afield, always enjoyable in a beautiful setting and definitely finishing with coffee or lunch!

Nordic Walking provides a full body workout using poles to propel you along, exercising your upper body, lower limbs and cardiovascular system as you walk. It’s a perfect all round exercise and easy to learn.
Our walks focus on exploring and enjoying the fabulous scenery that the Chalke Valley has to offer . We use the hills and distances as a natural workout. The walks are all spectacular and varied ranging from the river valley and meadows to the far reaching views at the top of the hills. All rural , off road ranging from 3 miles up to 10 miles .
